SWS Exhibits

The Sierra Watercolor Society sponsors multiple public art exhibits each year. The organization and arrangement of each exhibit is carried out by SWS volunteers, and all members are invited to display original water media work for public viewing and enjoyment. SWS holds its annual juried show during the popular Balloon Race Exhibit at the Wilbur May Museum.

Theme is "The Color Purple" in any watercolor form. Explore mood, literature or fancy, landscape, still life, pets or portraits. It is your expression of the color purple, not that you need to have your painting purple. You do not need to use the color purple anywhere in your painting. Entry day is May 3rd and pick-up day is May 27th. Please volunteer for this exhibit by calling Sharon Welker 847-5278.
